In December 2025, our world changed forever.

My mom was the happiest, warmest, most loving soul — always smiling, always putting others before herself. For years, she had unknowingly been living with undetected advanced ovarian cancer.

Watching everything unfold so quickly was something I still struggle to put into words. While trying to continue life as a full-time working mom of two, our family was suddenly thrown into a reality we never expected. Within days of her diagnosis, we were facing the unimaginable — and shortly after, we lost her.

That is why I have created The Ovarian Circle — in honour of my mom, and for every woman and family affected by ovarian cancer.

This charity is being built to:

Raise awareness of ovarian cancer and its symptoms

Push for more research and earlier detection

Create a safe, supportive community where people feel heard, understood and less alone

Support patients, families and loved ones navigating this devastating disease

No family should have to go through what ours did without answers, support or awareness.

This is only the beginning, but I hope The Ovarian Circle can become a place of hope, support, education and change.
