Raising funds to help with General Election costs

Hello - my name is David Buckley - and I am raising funds to help with future campaign expenses as I stand as an independent candidate to represent the Windsor constituency in the next General Election. I believe that independent representation is the only real alternative to all the messy party politics that has broken Britain.
A bit about my 'Politics'
Since 2019 I have been campaigning for an Independent candidate to be elected to Parliament to put "people before politics" The only political representation to put residents first are independents as party politicians are "whipped" to put the party needs first. This begs the question, how can party candidates put residents needs first, before party politics?
In 2020 I became the leader of a local independent party called the Borough first Independents, who in the recent 2023 local elections had 7 members elected to the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead council. This brought the number of local independent councillors to 9 with only 5 liberal Democrats and 5 Conservative councillors in the Windsor constituency.
With the recent constituency boundary change there are now 11 independents, 13 conservatives and 5 lib dems meaning with a big push Windsor could elect its first independent MP who will put residents first, every time.
Again in 2020 at the start of the pandemic I realised that there was no support network for the residents of Datchet, while they were isolating. I set up a volunteer network of 150 volunteers within 10 days covering every street to support all the vulnerable residents of the village. The support line continues to today helping and supporting residents isolating with covid.
I have been working tirelessly to make sure residents are being put first from a very local level in the Parishes (as Chairman of Datchet Parish Council and a member of Horton Parish Council) to more recently being elected as a Borough Councillor for Datchet, Horton and Wraysbury ward within the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead.
I have shown, by my actions, that I create change at every tier of authority, to put residents needs first everytime, unlike other candidates that have no proven track record in making positive change for residents and just appear under their party political brands at every general election. It is time for real change.
Windsor can be the first constituency to change politics forever in the 21st Century, just as it did with the formation of the Magna Carta which was the first democracy created locally. Now once again Windsor can be the catalyst for change. By holding the party's to account for their failure to put the people's needs first, Windsor residents have a chance to change politics by voting in an independent as an MP in the next election.
Why 'Independent'?
An independent Member of Parliament (MP) has the same legislative powers and responsibilities as any other MP in their respective country's parliament or legislative body. Here are some key things an independent MP can do:
1. *Vote on Legislation:* They can vote on bills, proposed laws, and government policies, just like party-affiliated MPs.
2. *Introduce Legislation:* Independents can introduce their own bills or propose amendments to existing ones.
3. *Constituent Services:* They can represent and advocate for their constituents' interests, address their concerns, and help them navigate government services.
4. *Committee Work:* Independent MPs often participate in parliamentary committees, where they review and scrutinize proposed legislation, conduct investigations, and make recommendations.
5. *Debate and Speeches:* They have the opportunity to participate in debates and deliver speeches on various issues in parliament.
6. *Questioning Government:* They can ask questions of government officials, including the prime minister or relevant ministers, to seek answers or accountability.
7. *Advocacy:* Independents can champion specific causes, policies, or reforms that align with their principles or the needs of their constituents.
8. *Constituency Projects:* They can advocate for funding and resources for projects in their constituency, such as infrastructure development or community programs.
9. *Collaboration:* Independent MPs can collaborate with other MPs, regardless of party affiliation, to build support for their initiatives or to influence policy decisions.
10. *Holding the Government to Account:* Like all MPs, they play a role in holding the government accountable for its actions and decisions.
I am looking to make change for Windsor by standing as a real alternative, to the 'same old - same old.' A vote for any political party says "I am happy with the way things are."
Voting for change, means voting for an independent candidate. A candidate who will be held to account. The 'BUCK STOPS HERE!'
Let's start to hold politicians to account by using our vote to make progressive change and stop the rot.
