Raising Funds for Jaimee Joyce's Medical Expenses
When you hear someone say pancreatic cancer, you can’t help but think of the finality of such an aggressive disease. According to the American Cancer Society, for all stages of pancreatic cancer combined, the one-year relative survival rate is 20%, and the five-year rate is 7%. But if you know our good friend Jaimee Joyce, you can take all of that information and throw it out the window.
Four years ago, Jaimee Joyce was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. By the grace of God, she has defeated the odds and turned the months she was given into years, with unwavering faith and a positive mindset. We have initiated this GoFundMe page so that she can continue to do so without the financial burdens that accompany this disease. She was recently informed that her cancer has metastasized and spread to her bone, lungs, and liver. With this comes more doctor appointments, tests, and the need for constant support and physical assistance. Now, don’t think for a second she has lost hope because we can promise you it’s only strengthened her resolve. Jaimee Joyce is a bright light who continually inspires us to live life to the fullest, love one another, hope for miracles, and have faith in God’s provisions.
