Greetings,
My name is Kashi and I've created this Go Fund Me To help my daughter Sofia, her partner Pattrick and their two beautiful children ages 3 & 8 recover from the theft of Pattrick's work truck and all of his tools as well as to help them move out of the neighborhood that they reside in due to the increasing crime, homelessness and over-all unsafe environment.
In the 3 years that we've lived here our neighborhood has become increasingly less safe with shootings, homelessness, drug use etc. This week has been the worst. On Wednesday night we all were woken up around midnight by screaming and yelling and someone trying to bash my daughter's front door down. There were four people trying to break in saying that my daughter's dog was theirs, which he is not and they do have the paperwork to prove that. The whole family was traumatized, fortunately my grandson slept through the whole thing. The police were called and basically did nothing except file a police report even though they caught two of the people and let them go. And then, two days later, my daughter's partner goes outside to get in his truck to go to work and discovers his truck and all his work tools were stolen. The whole family is traumatized, scared and feeling powerless.
We originally moved to this property due to the high cost of living in Sonoma County and we could get a better rent deal here, with the intention of being able to save funds to be able to put something away for a better future living situation for my daughter and her family.
West County is where our community, work, school, friends and family are. We want to stay here and live our lives and to be able to contribute in a positive way.
I am requesting fund's for Pattrick to rebuild his tool box so that he can work to support his family and also additional money for first month and security deposit on a new place in a safer neighborhood. The tool loss was about $3000 and costs for getting into a new home around $2000. If any extra comes in it will go towards moving costs and funds due to loss of work. Patt is starting a new job on the 22nd of November which he needs his tools for.
I greatly appreciate any help that you can give this family in need. Any amount will help and is gratefully appreciated.
with love and gratitude,
