Raising funds to help Aaron on his healing journey

Aaron was out riding his bike with his dog at Valley View centre when his bike was stolen, he then tried to chase the person robbing him down the street, attempting to retrieve his bicycle back. While waving at vehicles for help ( on foot ) Aaron was struck with a vehicle who chose to do a hit and run. Aaron was left on the road with a broken leg, and he had to drag himself to the ditch to get to safety. He has now received emergency surgery piecing his leg back together with a rod all the way from his ankle up to his kneecap. He has been told he will have a 8 month recovery and won’t be able to work. I’m hoping as a community we can come together and raise him some funds to support himself while he navigates what comes next.

As for his bike it is still missing, it’s a red Rocky Mountain bike which is a rare color.. Please keep your eyes open for this bike in the Victoria- upper island area ( was stolen in cobble hill ) if anyone has any tips please come forward to the local police.
