As some of our family and friends are aware, our mum was rushed into hospital last week as she unexpectedly fell ill. When we called the ambulance we wasn’t sure exactly what was happening, but later found out that between a DKA, Covid, and pneumonia, she had to be taken up to ICU and put under sedation whilst also being ventilated.

With that being said, the ICU team at Wigan Royal Albert Infirmary have inevitably saved our mums life. We have no idea on how we could thank them so we have decided to set up this gofundme to hopefully raise some funds to help. If we can provide ICU with one extra resource, to save one extra life we feel we could turn this awful situation into something more positive.

We feel this is the least we can do to thank them for everything they have done for our mum, and our family.
