Hi! My name is Camizole and I’m raising funds to help cover some very unexpected medical expenses for my cats — Helly, Helena, Toast, and Maelle. They are my family, and each of them has been through a lot recently.
Helly & Helena: Both had fleas when I picked them up up and have had complications from low red blood cell counts because of that. Unfortunately, I have received no help from the foster system that I got them from. They’ve needed extra care and treatment to help get them stable and healthy again. They are doing a lot better now, but I have incurred a lot of debt due to their care.
Maelle: Maelle needed a hernia repair as well as monitoring when I first got her, which started the stack of vet bills I’m trying to manage.
Toast: Toasterfloof has a heart condition that requires ongoing monitoring and further medical work to keep him comfortable and safe. I just found out about this last week. He will be needing an echocardiogram which was quoted to me at $1,200 as well as a blood pressure check, more bloodwork, and an ongoing prescription diet.
Why the Goal Is So High
Veterinary care adds up quickly, especially when multiple pets need help at the same time. Between exams, emergency visits, bloodwork, medications, ongoing treatments, and surgeries, the bills have reached thousands of dollars. On top of that, Toast’s heart condition means there will be future visits and monitoring to make sure he’s okay.
Simplified Breakdown
Helly & Helena: Vet visits, flea treatment, full lab work, fecal analysis, emergency vet visit with lab work, multiple follow up lab work appointments
Maelle: Vet visits, full lab work, hernia repair surgery
Toast: Vet visits, lab work, urinalysis, fecal analysis, echocardiogram, ongoing blood pressure checks, UPC, prescription diet
These costs have piled up quickly, and while I’m doing everything I can to keep up, it’s become overwhelming. I currently live very closely paycheck to paycheck, and though I was able to put these costs on a credit card, that added monthly bill has started to cause issues. Any contribution will go directly toward repaying their past visits as well as their current vet visits, treatments, and follow-up care.
If you can’t donate, sharing this page means just as much and helps more than you know. Please don't contribute outside of your means!
In lieu of this GoFundMe, I will be removing the Throne contribution for their care. Any funds that were donated to that fund will be immediately applied to their current debt and care.
Thank you for supporting me and my little family. It truly means the world.
