“Truth Be Told” is a senior thesis film that is currently in pre-production and is being shot in May.

DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT:

Hey there!

My name is Leo Prosen-Oldani! I am an aspiring filmmaker currently studying film production at DePaul University with a concentration in directing! For as long as I can remember, I have dreamed of writing and directing my own films! While I have had the opportunity to fill many roles, directing, acting, writing, and many other responsibilities on smaller projects throughout my time at DePaul, “Truth be Told” is my biggest project to date, and with your help, it can come to life!

Without revealing too much, “Truth be Told” is a dark comedy filled with tension that tells the story of Stewart, a young man who begins to grow paranoid about the true nature of a friend who has nestled their way into his friend group. This blend of comedy with darker undertones has always been the style of film I enjoy most, and my hopes are that this project can be the first of many to showcase my unique vision. Any amount of money donated will help, and I appreciate you taking the time to even read all this (if you’ve made it this far)!
