Raising funds for surgery

Hello I am Carl Desjardins, I am currently 31 year old Canadian.
Over the last year I have been off work, on disability through my employer as I have been dealing with a daily struggles with severe Gastrointestinal issues much like I struggled with in 2011. In 2011 I was fortunate to have support through fundraising from friends and family and my local community and a women from Texas, Karen Steward that has dedicated her life to raise awareness for adhesion related disorder.
That fundraising, helped me go from a bed ridden/housebound individual with no real quality of life who was living in chronic pain for 4 years as my medical condition of adhesions is only diagnosed through an exploratory surgery. After 4 years of suffering I was finally diagnosed and treated by a specialist in Germany and was able to live a normal life from 2011- 2015 after a successful adhesiolysis from a Specialist in Germany. During that time, I finished my degree, got myself a fulltime job, and met a beautiful girlfriend and had my quality of life back.
This past year I have had multiple surgeries oversees in which has given me improvements but the most recent surgery I have developed some issues and a complications, and due to the surgery being outside of the country, an the nature of the the issue the local health system will not do anything to try and help me with this issue, and will only operate on me when it becomes a life or death situation with an emergency bowel obstruction.
My daily struggles consist of severe gastrointestinal issues which include partial obstructions, pain, nausea, vomiting , cramping, bloating, pain with eating, constipation, and the inability to get adequate sleep.
I am working with doctors in Canada , but much like my experience in 2011, not much is done here to prevent obstructions and they will only operate when it is a life or death situation. I am humbly and gratefully trying to raising funds to see a specialist either in the United States or back in Germany, that specializes in adhesions to fix my issue and complication of a displaced sigmoid colon to reattach it to my pelvic sidewall and to also conduct an adhesiolysis if necessary.
While I have been off work living on disability for more than a year, My girlfriend and I have paid out of pocket for multiple surgeries, and after a recent car accident compounding our financial issues we have been unable to afford to pay for another surgery on my own.
I am humbly reaching out to friends and strangers in hoping to reach out to people, as any donation can go a long way in making a difference in my life.
