My name is Nadine, and over the past few years I’ve worked incredibly hard to transform my health. I’ve lost 135 pounds so far—going from 300 lbs to 165 lbs—and I’m very close to reaching my goal of 155. The photo above shows where I started, and the image below reflects how far I’ve come.
With this weight loss has come a new challenge: significant excess skin. While I’m deeply proud of the progress I’ve made, the remaining skin is causing painful sores and recurring infections that affect my daily comfort and mobility.
Some of the necessary surgery to remove this skin is covered by OHIP here in Ontario, but not all of it. The uncovered portion is more than I can manage on my own.
I’m fundraising to cover the remaining surgical costs so I can move forward without pain, continue healing, and fully step into this new chapter of my life. Any support—whether through donating or sharing this fundraiser—means more than I can express.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any help you’re able to offer. Your kindness truly makes a difference!
