The Staplehurst Emergency Help Team (SEHT) is a volunteer-led group formed to support our village when it matters most. We are local residents who believe that strong communities save lives—especially during emergencies, severe weather, power outages, or unexpected incidents that disrupt everyday life.
Our role is simple but vital: to help share clear, accurate information, support vulnerable residents, and work alongside local authorities to make sure no one is left isolated or unsure where to turn. From coordinating help to providing reassurance, SEHT exists to strengthen Staplehurst’s resilience in challenging times.
We rely on community support to keep our communications reliable and effective. By upgrading our equipment and systems, we can respond faster, reach more people, and ensure residents receive timely guidance when it’s needed most. Your support helps us protect, connect, and care for our community—now and in the future.
