This is Rocco

He is the most beautiful-hearted dog. He is known by everyone. He has been my best friend since he was 8 weeks old.

I am gutted that insurance will not cover his surgery costs I have been fighting for 6 weeks and each day he is in more pain and the longer he goes without surgery the more damage to his joints and arthritis.

Because insurance won't pay - I have no way to cover the costs upfront, I can not get credit cards or a bank loan as I lived away for some time.

The surgery with xrays is £5k plus post-op physio @£1k

I am broken-hearted that my beautiful energetic boy who we used to walk for hours a day is now on total rest, unable to go for walks, not allowed to swim or play and on top of that restricted food!!!

This is the last thing I thought I would have to do to raise the funds for his surgery, I have tried everything but can not get credit as an expat. I have had to swallow my pride for my boy's sake and ask for those who adore animals, for help.

I pray he can have surgery soon to repair the damage and heal as soon as possible.
