Help Richard feel safe again

On Thursday 22nd Dec around 22:15pm Gathurst lane, Shevington. I was home looking after my disabled father when there was a knock at the door,

Moments later - more knocking which got progressively louder, the fourth and fifth time they started hammering on the door and I thought our front door was going to be put through.

Seconds later I heard another different but very loud bang, shattering glass so I ran through to the front room thinking someone had actually broken in.

Glass was everywhere and I could see the front window had been been smashed but at this point I don't know the extent of what had happened.

Our house had been targeted and attacked by 3 men and a driver in a white Range Rover. The 3 men were Shouting "pay the f*cking money back we owed". They were absolutely terrifying.

When the police arrived, we discovered our front lounge window had been shot at 9 times and my bedroom window shot twice.

We believe this was a planned and targeted attack.

We are innocent victims.

We owe money to no-one. We have never done any harm to anyone so we can only assume these criminals have mistakenly targeted the wrong home.

Going forward, we are trying to fix the damage, and restore our home back to what it was is proving to be costly beyond our expectations.

We are looking to raise funds towards the cost to secure our property so that we feel safe to carry on living there.

My Dad has built his life, growing his famous Sunflowers.

He met Prince Charles at High grove after achieving numerous world records with his vegetables grown in his beloved allotment. He's been in the newspaper and on the TV every year with his vegetables making our home the famous sunflower house. We have lived there for 45 years, We've made so many happy memories to have to move homes now would break my dad's heart but we need to feel safe again.

Excess house insurance windows £425

2 leaded unshot windows that insurance won't pay for even though the glass needs matching to stay in keeping
