Raising funds for PALS Early Intervention School

My name is Donna, I’m a member of the autism community and a parent of a child who attends PALS Early Intervention Preschool for children with Autism.

PALS is a Preschool who specialises in the care and education of children with Autism, their dedication from the staff to their pupils is unmatched, they provide such a crucial service for children with complex needs. They are a charitable organisation and are funded by the Home Tuition Grant provided by the Department of Education and donations. Unfortunately they are facing a catastrophic financial situation due to the negligence of our own government by not paying them the Home Tuition Grant in which our children have been approved for and are entitled to. This has left them in dire financial situation, making it difficult for them to pay their staff, rent and taxes which could ultimately lead to the closure of the school. With limited services for children with autism as it is this would be absolutely devastating to those who depend on this service.

Myself and the other parents want to take a stand and raise money for this school and we urge you to help, nothing is too small, all donations are welcome and greatly appreciated.

This is not just about the money, it’s about the future of our children, we cannot afford to loose this incredible resource.

UPDATE:

PALS have received Decembers payment as of today 19/02/24, however we are still waiting on Januarys payment. All funding from this GoFundMe will be used for the school; to build up a reserve incase they experience delays with payments in the future again and resources for the school & children.
