Eight Year 8 pupils from Holme Grange School are taking on a Dawn to Dusk Challenge at Dinton Pastures to raise money for their much loved school farm this September.

From sunrise to sunset, they will be walking, running and cycling laps of Black Swan Lake, working together to complete over 100 combined laps.

Why 100? This year marks Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday, and as admirers of his lifelong dedication to animals and the natural world, the pupils felt 100 laps would be a fitting target.

Every donation will support the next stage of development at the school farm, including helping to welcome two new Wensleydale sheep, providing enrichment equipment for the goats, and contributing towards improved animal areas and outdoor learning spaces.

It is a big challenge for eight pupils, but every lap and every donation will make a difference.

Thank you for your support!
