Hi, my name is Zoe, and I’ve created this page for my husband Angelo, who has been diagnosed with ALS (Motor Neurone Disease).
ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease with no cure, limited treatments, and a confronting prognosis, with the average life expectancy around 27 months from diagnosis.
We recently discovered an alternative treatment called Neuromodulation, which targets the brain and nervous system and has shown promise in improving quality of life and independence.
It is currently only available in Cyprus at the SOZO Brain Centre, with the opportunity to continue treatment at home with a medical device. While this clinic is planning to open a branch in Sydney, the timeline is yet to be confirmed.
The treatment is expensive, but we’re willing to do everything we can to support Angelo and help him maintain his independence as he enters fatherhood.
Any donation, big or small, would mean so much to us.
We’re incredibly grateful for the love and support from our community.
We remain hopeful, grounded in faith that anything is possible.
With gratitude,
Zoe
