Raising Funds for Meghann's Medical & Funeral Expenses

We are fundraising for a brave woman who, in addition to recently losing her daughter, is fighting for her life whilst facing an onslaught of financial challenges in relation to her diagnosis and attempted treatment from cancer. The money raised will go solely to Meghann Grogan for various treatment, transportation, and housing options throughout this difficult time.

Ava's obituary is as follows:

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved daughter Ava Poeme Berney , who was taken from us too soon on May25th,2024, at the tender age of 20 years. She brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives with her kind heart, radiant smile, and boundless curiosity. Though her time with us was brief, the depth of love and happiness she shared will forever remain in our hearts . Ava is survived by her mother Meghann Grogan, Father figure Eugene Marchand. A cremation service was held on June 5th at 9am.

To add to this enormous loss, Meghann is suffering from cancer and is presently undergoing treatment. Meghann's recovery will be a challenge as she will require home care and many other treatment options. The burden of losing her precious Ava and coping with her illness is a testament to her strength. The treatment will be long range and home care will be required. Funds will be used to assist Meghann in her care and ultimate cure.
