Donation protected
My sister Linda, unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021. We did not find this out until Monday, May 10. To say that we are shell shocked and heartbroken is an understatement.
We are unprepared for this loss and we have found that she has no life insurance. There are no funds to cover her funeral costs or final arrangements. She was on permanent disability and did not have many resources.
She was predeceased by her late husband, Michael Oleksza, who was a volunteer Sayreville Firefighter until his death in 1998. He is buried in St. John's Cemetery in Hopelawn, NJ.
She will be laid to rest with her husband Michael.
Linda did not have funeral plans laid out, and we must raise the funds to cover the cost of her funeral, cremation, and burial.
Linda was a graduate of Sayreville War Memorial High School, Class of 1982. She resided in Sayreville until after her husband passed away, when she moved to the Keansburg area of NJ. Her lifelong ties and relationships are still here in Sayreville, and I am hoping that our lifelong friends and neighbors in the community can help us put Linda to her eternal rest.
Linda was a lifetime member of the Sayreville Ladies' Auxiliary, at Sayreville Engine Co. No. 1. Even though Linda never had much in life, she was a very goodhearted person, giving of herself whenever she could. She donated to several ministries, was an animal lover, and would give her friends the shirt off her back.
Please consider helping us with her final arrangements--she's the youngest of our family, and yet she has passed away before the rest of us. She was just 56 years old. Can you please help and share? We will make sure she attains her place of rest next to her husband, and if you can donate anything, it will go a long way. Anything our friends can do would be greatly appreciated at this difficult time.
