We need your help to save Leo’s life

A few days ago, we found him barely clinging to life - unable to eat, with maggots in his mouth and throat, a painful skin infection, and a broken jaw. He had no way to cry for help. No one to come for him. Until now.

When the vet asked for a name, we didn’t know if he was male or female. We were just trying to get him to safety. But something in us said “Leo.” And somehow, it fit. He’s a boy. He’s a fighter. And now, he’s ours.

Leo is currently hospitalized at 640 Vet in Saint-Eustache, receiving round-the-clock care. He’s on IV fluids, antibiotics, and maggot treatment. His breathing and heart are stable for now, but he’s weak and in pain. Since he’s unable to eat, he will undergo emergency surgery today to try to repair his jaw.
