Beirut Blast Relief Fund

A massive explosion has ripped through the Lebanese capital Beirut on Tuesday, August 4th, 2020, causing major devastation. 

An explosion that shook the heart of Beirut, so powerful enough that took hundreds of lives, wounding more than 5000 people and leaving over 300,000 people homeless.

The crisis in Lebanon is no longer just political or economic, it is humanitarian. Lebanese are in dire need of help in many ways including food, shelter, medical supplies and other basic human needs. 

I will direct the funds in full transparency to well-vetted NGOs based in Lebanon such as the Lebanese Red Cross (relief aid)  and Baytna Baytak (providing shelter for those who have displaced due to the blast). Once we have achieved our goal, we will provide proof that the funds have been sent to mentioned NGOs.
