Hi, my name is Sophie. I'm 16 years old and passionate about sailing.

I started sailing ILCA (Lasers) just two years ago in Australia and have already competed in club, state, and national regattas. This past season, I performed well enough to be invited to represent Australia at the ILCA 4 World Championships in Los Angeles, California, from July 14th to 26th.

This is a huge opportunity, my first-ever international regatta, and a big step toward my long-term dream: to represent Costa Rica in sailing at the Olympics. No one from Costa Rica has ever done this before, and I want to be the first.

But international competition is expensive and entirely self-funded. I’m raising funds to help cover the cost of:
