Raising Funds for Go Compose! (Antigua)

Hi, I am Josh.

I am attempting to raise £1500 for the opportunity to lead music workshops in composition and creative music making for the local school children on the island of Antigua in the Caribbean.

This is a priceless opportunity for both my personal development as a musician and educator, and also to help bring western classical music, film music and Jazz to talented young people who have less access to musical education, but have the passion and creativity to excel at it. It is an important project and is lead by the charity ‘Commonwealth Resounds’, headed by Alison Cox and is an annually run trip. This will be my first year of being involved and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to go, I just need to raise some cash to cover the cost of the trip (flights, accommodation Etc.

I know I said it is a priceless experience, but if I had to put a price on it, it would be £1500 as my goal. This will cover all of the cost of my involvement in the project and is such an exciting prospect. Any amount that you can donate helps hugely and means an immeasurable amount to me personally.
