Jamie is my cousin and was a very loving, kind and considerate soul. Jamie’s passing has touched so many people - family, friends and just about everyone who new him.
Jamie’s battles began from day one, being born with Down’s syndrome and a heart defect that caused him to have a massive heart attack and stroke as a very young child. After a big heart operation Jamie was given a pacemaker and not expected to see adulthood. Despite this prognosis Jamie defied all the doctors expectations showing great strength and determination of a truely inspiration man that he was, right until the very end at age 43. Letting everyone around know his famous words “I’m fine!”
Jamie will always be remembered for the light and love he shared and as a blessing to this family.
I have set up this fund to help in some small way.
