Raising funds for British Heart Foundation in memory of mum
Donation protected
Sunday, April 27th. That's the day I'm running 26.2 miles. A deeply personal challenge to honor the memory of my incredible mum. Those who knew her remember her laughter, her boundless kindness, and the way she made everyone feel seen and, of course, well-fed!
Heart disease took her from us far too soon. It left a void that I'm determined to fill with purpose.
That's why I'm dedicating every step to the British Heart Foundation. They fund vital research and provide crucial support to families like mine. I've been training tirelessly, pushing my limits, visualising that finish line.
This 'Not the London Marathon' isn't just any run. It's a beautiful course along the River Thames in Walton on Thames. Runners complete eight identical laps for the full marathon! It’s a UKA certified route,
(Certificate No: 18/340).
My goal is to surpass last year's fundraising total and reach over £2,000. Every donation, no matter how small, fuels my determination and directly contributes to saving lives.
Let's turn grief into hope, honor my Mum, a truly remarkable woman, and support the British Heart Foundation's life-saving work!
