My name is Matthew Kayne. I am forty two years old, a radio DJ, disability campaigner, and a bladder cancer survivor. I was born with cerebral palsy and I use a wheelchair full time. Music has always been my way of expressing myself and connecting with others.

In December twenty twenty two, I was diagnosed with aggressive bladder cancer after discovering blood in my urine. What followed were months of hospital procedures, painful treatments, and eventually major surgery to remove my bladder. I now live with a stoma, and my recovery has been both physically and emotionally challenging.

During my recovery, music became a powerful source of strength. I am now raising funds through my new original single Look At Me Now, which represents the next stage of my life after cancer. The song reflects resilience, survival, and the determination to move forward with purpose after life changing illness.
