Raising Funds for a Beloved Mother in Need

A Call for Compassion and Support: We are reaching out to raise funds for a very sick mother who is in dire need of medical monetary assistance. Due to being unable to work and having limited insurance coverage, the family has been in financial crisis. The escalating medical bills have placed an immense financial burden on her family. We are appealing for your support to alleviate this strain.

Anna-Maria was diagnosed with lupus and she has suffered with lupus (a chronic autoimmune disease where the body's immune system mistakenly attacks its own healthy tissues and organs) for many years, and leukemia (blood cancer) in 2023, requiring extensive, long-term medical treatment. Now her lupus has attacked her kidneys, causing her to start dialysis. Anna Maria has recently been diagnosed with liver cancer/damage. She has been unable to work since early 2024, and the family pays for insurance.

These insurance premiums are paid out of pocket along with her medical costs for hospital stays, surgeries, medications, and ongoing therapies. Despite her family's best efforts (her husband and two high school-aged children all work to support the family), the financial strain has become insurmountable. Keeping food on the table, paying for prescription medications, specialists, and medical care have become overwhelming.

Needing to support Anna Maria to ensure she receives the best possible care, we have set a fundraising goal of $10,000. This amount will cover her immediate medical needs and pay for her medical coverage. We are calling upon the kindness of friends, family, and the broader community to contribute to this cause.
