Charlie was invited to represent Ridgeland High School at the 2020 National Student Leadership Conference held at the American University in Washington, D.C. this summer. This is a very unique opportunity for students to learn and practice skills for eight days in hands on classes on a college campus. They will also have the opportunity to make new friends and gain skills to help them with their career paths. The groups will also get a day to tour the sites in D.C. Since she wants to major in Biology in college, Charlie has chosen the Biotechnology program in June. The cost for her to attend is $3,395 plus flights and expenses.
