Raising Funds : 9th Annual Dolma Bhumther Event

Tax deductible
We invite you to become a part of something truly special—Reciting Hundred Thousand Tara Prayer, The Dolma Bhumther Annual Thanksgiving Event. Established in 2015 and officially registered as a non-profit in 2018, New York and New Jersey Dolchok Tsokpa Inc is a religious organization dedicated to hosting spiritually enriching events that promote peace, understanding, and the accumulation of merits and virtues. Our organization is unique in that it's powered by volunteers who selflessly devote their time and energy. It's a testament to the dedication and passion of our community.

Each year, during Thanksgiving week, we come together for five sacred days to celebrate our shared journey toward inner awakening and world peace. We are thrilled to mark the 9th year of this meaningful tradition this year. The core of our event is deeply spiritual, with the goal of removing obstacles, offering long-life prayers for His Holiness The Dalai Lama and to many other spiritual masters, and fostering world peace.

We believe in the power of collective merit and virtue, and our event is open to all, without any fees. Attendees are not only provided with various nourishing meals a day but also have the opportunity to receive teachings on Buddhism. An average of 400 to 700 individuals join us each day, forming a vibrant tapestry of souls committed to unity and enlightenment. Alongside tea, refreshments, and warm camaraderie, we offer teachings on Tibetan Buddhism that inspire personal growth and self-discovery. This year's teachings will include Dolma Empowerment, White Tara Teachings, and the enlightening Sherab Nyimbo.

Hosting such a profound event incurs expenses that typically amount to $60,000 to $70,000. These funds are utilized for essential aspects like hall rentals, nourishing meals, miscellaneous fees, and travel arrangements for esteemed Buddhist teachers who join us from various parts of the world to share their wisdom. In the past, the generous donations of our attendees during the event itself have helped cover these costs. However, this year, we've chosen to take a different approach by conducting online fundraising. Our goal is to utilize the funds raised entirely to ensure the success of this spiritually enriching event.

We humbly ask for your support in reaching this goal. Your contribution, no matter the size, will directly contribute to making the Dolma Bumther Annual Thanksgiving Event a reality in 2023 and beyond. It's an opportunity to be part of a larger mission of peace, spirituality, and collective growth. Please consider making a donation and sharing this fundraiser with friends, family, and fellow seekers. Together, we can make a profound difference in the lives of those who seek wisdom, peace, and spiritual growth.

Lastly, we would like to inform you that as a registered nonprofit organization in New York State, your donation is eligible for a tax deduction in accordance with the laws. Thank you for being a part of this sacred journey with us.
