Raising for Michael Dececco

Those of us that grew up with Mike Dececco know that he has always had a heart condition. This condition always prevented him from playing contact sports like football, but allowed him to live a pretty good life otherwise. A month ago, Mike was bitten by something on his chest, and over a weeks time, it grew into a full blown bacterial infection; on the brink of sepsis. He was immediately admitted into the hospital and has not been home since. Although not home, he was recently diagnosed with Endocarditis and moved to a medical facility in Hartford due to the necessity of around the clock administering of his meds(IV). Mike will be living away from his family, his sons, and his work while recovering from this traumatic attack of illness. With that said, he  will not be able to work, and will be paying a significant amount of money out of pocket for the medical expenses. It is my hope that this beautiful community we live in, will be willing to band together and help a fellow neighbor. Everyone that is around Mike recently, is proud of the strides that he has made and the order that he has brought to his life. Please consider helping the cause to alleviate some of the daily worries he is consumed by; so that he can just focus on getting better and back on the positive path.
