For my 21st birthday this year, I’m doing something pretty unforgettable…I’m jumping out of a plane from 12,000 feet.  I’ll be skydiving with Go Skydive in Kent. The skydive will be fully self-funded, and every penny raised through this GoFundMe will go directly to an incredible local charity, Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare.

Raystede is an independent animal rescue based in Ringmer, East Sussex, and they’ve been helping animals since 1952. They care for around 2,000 animals every year, from dogs, cats to rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and even larger animals. Raystede supports animals of all shapes and sizes.

Raystede is also connected to Peaceways which is their own pet crematorium, which I used recently after losing my beloved cat Solo, who truly was my whole world. The staff, especially Jeff, were absolutely incredible and made such a heartbreaking situation feel calm, smooth, and respectful. They gave me so much comfort and closure during one of the hardest times, and I’ll always be grateful for their care and kindness.

The work Raystede and Peaceways do makes a real difference to both animals and people who love them. So, I’d love to raise as much money as possible to support them. Any donation, big or small, would mean so much, and sharing this page helps just as much.
