Raising donations for myself and other Liver Patients.
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,
I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit. My fiancé, Clay, was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver in August 2022, a life-altering condition that has changed our lives in unimaginable ways.
We are currently just two procedures away from being placed on the transplant list at the UF Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. This is a crucial step in Clay's journey, but it comes with its own set of challenges. We must travel to Gainesville once a month for appointments, tests, and consultations, which can be physically and financially exhausting.
The support from our wonderful community has been wonderful during this difficult time, and we are incredibly grateful for every act of kindness we have received. However, the costs associated with travel, medical expenses, and daily living are becoming overwhelming. That’s why we are turning to you for help.
Your generous donations will help us in covering travel expenses, medical bills, and other necessities as we go through this challenging journey. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help and bring us one step closer to giving Clay the hope he needs and deserves.
We believe in the power of community and the kindness of strangers. Together, we can help Clay continue to fight for his life. Thank you for taking the time to read our story, and for any support you can offer. Your kindness means the world to us.
With heartfelt gratitude and many thanks,
