Hello all,

My father, Charles Decker, is unfortunately near the end of his life. He was found unresponsive in his apartment a few weeks ago on March 23rd, 2024. After extensive testing at the hospital, it was revealed that he had damage to his heart, brain, liver, kidneys, and blood, as well as an infection in his gall bladder. They also found lesions on his spine that they thought were cancer but instead turned out to be indicative of a bone marrow disease. Due to all of this, I have made the decision to make him comfortable until he passes, and he will soon be transferred to hospice care so that he can be made more comfortable. Because of this sudden change, there are a lot of expenses that have popped up in addition to the need to plan for a funeral and/or memorial. I am asking for donations in his name so that I can cover these random expenses that may happen, and I'm setting the goal at $15,000 since that will both pay for a funeral and leave money left over to take care of these other expenses. I will be grateful for anything you are willing to donate to help us take care of him. Once he passes, I will be spreading the word about any plans to celebrate his life. Thank you for your support.
