Raising a beautiful service for a beautiful woman

My mom was 55 years old and battled cancer for 2 weeks and lost. This was a very sudden passing. She loved every one of her 4 daughters dearly. She left behind a family of 4 along with her husband.

My mom was a very strong woman. Having came to the United States at the age of 22 and worked very hard to establish a life here. With her cheerful personality and amazing smile, she quickly found work as a maid for a couple of residences of Beverly Hills. To her favor, these people were so kind to her that they helped her establish her residency in the United States. They became family to her. The help didn't stop there. Her new found clients also helped her bring her two very young daughters from Guatemala and also helped her get a visa for her mom to be able to visit.

After establishing a business and her family, she was able to send her daughters to one of the best schools in town. Despite it being one hour away from their home. With her husband's business suffering from the recession, she literally put the family on her back and supported them for severals years. My mom didn't know how not to work hard. All she knew was how to take care of others and get the job done. With all of her love and dedication to her family, her daughters received a great example of how not to give up despite the odds against you.

Within the last 2 weeks her health suffered greatly due to anemia, and infection in her ovaries. Although she had routine doctor visits , the cancer that took her life went by unnoticed. During her stay at the hospital her hope was high and her strength shined through brighter then ever. Each day she got progressively worse, yet her attitude got progressively better. She was still concerned about her daughters, her husband, and even with the well being of everyone that was visiting. Truly a huge heart filled with loved for others.

The doctors diagnosed her with Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma Cancer and a prognosis of  six month on Saturday March 9th. She left us on Sunday March 10th, the very next day. The family wasn't expecting it , and neither was she. Truly there are no words to express how we feel. We hope and pray that you can help out with whatever you can to aid in funeral and life expenses . My 3 sisters and my father will be in charge of the final expenses and trust that everything will work out. Thank you for reading our story and we  appreciate your help.
