Raising $5.5K to cover cost to run school

I'm raising money to benefit the Huong Viet Community Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization; any donation will help make an impact and are tax deductible. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

Due to a drop in attendance and tuition income because of the pandemic, we are raising $5,500 to cover the cost of running our Vietnamese Language School in order to continue to keep our tuition low, and maintain our current number of teachers. Your donation will contribute to space rental fees, school supplies, hosting free events like Tet Trung Thu (Moon Festival) and Tet (Lunar New Year), and nominal compensation to our teachers.

The mission of the Huong Viet Community Center is to promote, advance, and support the development of the Vietnamese American Community and families through educational, social, and cultural programs.  Huong Viet seeks to advocate and encourage the active participation and full integration of Vietnamese Americans into the East Bay Community.  Our main program is the Vietnamese Language School serving students ages 4 to 18 every Saturday from 9am to 12pm at Unity High Charter School in Oakland.
