This is for my sister, Chasin Bujanda and her young family in need.

After the devastating rainstorm and flooding, in Denham Springs, LA, my sister and her family are left homeless, with next to zero possessions. As they lived far above the flood plain, most people in their region did not have flood insurance (hurricane, tornado insurance dont cover)

They were just up in Ontario for a visit and found out halfway home, there was no home to go to. Their neighbours were saved by helicopter and evacuated but not before my sister contacted them to find out the water had risen to their roofs.

As it is, they have nothing, are tight with money and have likely lost their jobs for some time. They have two small children and are truly in need of help. I'm hoping they can get enough money together to leave and come back here, where they can stay with my mom, instead of a shelter, while they figure out everything.

Anything helps, I hope people on here can help.
