The Wisconsin Association for Environmental Education is about to take a huge step. We're hiring an executive director this spring, but it takes funding to ensure this step is sustainable. Dr. Rick Wilke, an environmental education researcher and statewide leader, has offered a generous one time donation of $5000. But only if we raise a matching $5000. We need you (and your co-workers, friends and family) to help.

 

Environmental education has been hit hard in Wisconsin- first by political gamesmanship that eliminated structural support like the Wisconsin Environmental Education Board and then by the impacts of COVID-19. The WAEE Executive Director will serve as a consistent voice for environmental education in our state and help us provide more opportunities for networking, EE advocacy and recognition- the three pillars of our work.

 

Help the Wisconsin Association for Environmental Education raise $5000 by January 15, 2022. If we reach our goal donations are matched and that's $10,000 for environmental education. Every donation helps build a future where more Wisconsin communities have a chance to connect with nature.
