Raising vital funds for Pancreatic Cancer Research

In Loving Memory of Nanny Doreen – Fighting for a Future Without Pancreatic Cancer

Last year, I lost someone incredibly dear to me — my wonderful Nan, Doreen. She was more than just a Nan; she was the heart of our family — strong, loving, and selfless. Her kindness and warmth touched everyone who knew her, and not a day goes by that I don’t miss her deeply.

Nan fought a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, a disease that is often diagnosed too late and is one of the most underfunded types of cancer. Watching her go through it with such strength opened my eyes to how much more support and research is needed to help others facing the same fight.

To honour her memory, we are holding a Charity football match on 12th July at 1pm at Moredon Community Hub, a running joke was her grandkids could make a football team. We’d love for everyone to join us on that special day. Whether you come to play, support, or just be part of something meaningful, your presence will make a difference.

Alongside the match, I’m also raising money to support pancreatic cancer research and awareness. Every donation — big or small — helps fund crucial research, improve treatments, and offer hope to other families.

Please consider donating or sharing this page. Let’s come together to honour Nan Doreen’s legacy and fight for a future with better outcomes for everyone affected by pancreatic cancer.

Thank you so much for your support — it truly means the world.
