On the 18th May 2025 my life was turned upside down when i suffered a life changing stroke. At just 24, I suffered what i thought was a migraine, turned out to be a bleed on the brain. In March 2024 Ialso experienced the loss of my first transplanted kidney. Undergoing Dialysis 4 times a week meant I naturally had higher blood pressure; causing the stroke. I have spent the last few months relearning to walk and regaining my strength working very closely with an incredible team of neuro physios. I would like to give back to both the national stroke society and renal ward who have supported me throughout my journey.
