Raise the tree

As you all may have heard a bad wind storm Saturday night (winds over 40mph) have knocked over the beautiful tree in downtown Indiana. The plans are to get a crane in and a crew to get get the tree and lights back up and in place asap!   The crane is coming tomorrow AM and we will have the Tree back up and ready for the rest of the season in a day or two. We estimate we may need at least another $1500 to pay for all the extra time, labor and equipment.

Downtown Indiana will gratefully accept tax-deductible donations at our office in person or by mail, earmarked “raise the tree”. Basement level of the library building, enter from rear parking lot or by mailing to 9 N. 9th St Indiana PA 15701.

I appreciate your offer to share this!

Once it’s back up maybe we can all gather around and sing like the Whoville people in the Grinch! Downtown Indiana is doing all it can to get make this happen but we need your help! Downtown Indiana is also a non profit 501c3 and tax deductible. Any monies raised over the goal will go towards helping pay for this year's festival. Give a little, give a lot. Any donations are greatly appreciated. Please help save Christmas!
