Hi I’m Steven.

Im fundraising for St John’s Church in Great Horton, Bradford. I came to this wonderful Church in August 2024. After I became very ill in hospital, I had a ‘calling’ from God to attend this warm and friendly welcoming Church along with my mum Melanie.

We thrive as a congregation and I’ve gained confidence and made many Church friends here. Mum comes along too, and has joined the singing group.

Our Church is a grade II listed building which provides service, prayers and hospitality to our wider community.

The funding is for the repairs and maintenance of our Church building. We need a new roof!

I have duchenne muscular dystrophy and have limited mobility. I plan to drive my wheelchair from Oakenshaw to Dewsbury to support our Church.
