Raise some funds...Raise some hope

Hi, my name is Robyn and I am hoping to raise funds for a dear friend and her daughter.

As many of you may know, Jenny Sader and her daughter Willow have been ordered to leave their home of many years by the Tablelands Regional Council (TRC). To demolish their own much loved home - at their own expense - and try to find somewhere new to live is an overwhelmingly emotional and stressful situation BUT … we can help!… by removing some of the financial stress.

Jenny and Willow have been permanent residents in the Lakeside Caravan Park for many, many years but the Council has recently decided to lease the park and has ordered them to leave by the end of November. Their homes are not transportable so they have to demolish them at their own expense. This is the directive from TRC.

Can you imagine the heartache of thinking you had your little ‘forever homes’ (that they had both paid a substantial amount of money for) and then see their security, and future ripped away from them?

Due to the housing crisis at the moment they cannot find anything to rent and Social Housing has a VERY long waiting list. Where will they live? The fear and anxiety are extreme for both of them, especially since it follows so closely behind the unexpected loss of loved ones. Now they have another loss to contend with.

Both Jenny and Willow have put their taste and character into their homes. Having seen both homes personally, my heart is breaking for them. They both have the most amazing taste in furnishings and design. You can see the love in the way their little ‘castles’ are presented. This is why I hope people will dig deep to help them.

Jenny has helped many people, charities, organizations, and groups in the years that she has been on the Tablelands. The photo of Jenny was taken when she was doing a circus art project with my family member. NOW is the time for us all to give something back to Jenny and Willow and show them that we feel for them. Donating is something practical and helpful that we can do to uplift them. Any donation, of any amount, will be gratefully received.
