Daniel and I went to school together at Perkins School for the blind. We participated in a wide array of activities together from classes like math and chemistry to fun activities such as film, piano and even an outing to a Redsox game. Throughout the ten years I have known him Daniel has demonstrated loyalty, dedication and friendship to everyone who he crosses paths with.
About a month and a half ago Daniel began to have difficulty breathing and was taken to the hospital where he was connected to machines to help him breathe. During this time, a group of his friends including myself rallied to support him as he has always supported us.
Unfortunately, Daniel lost his battle on September 6, after a hard passionate fight. Now, his family strives to give him the service he would have wanted and cover the cost of his many days in hospitalization. For this reason, we are continuing our fundraiser to assist them with the financial struggles they currently face. Any support will and has always been greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance
