Hello my name is Bernadette (Nurah Rose) Lacey and eight years ago I was inspired to sell my home and possessions and purchase a 19.6 acre forested site near Camolin village in southeast Ireland. I did this following a vision which I had had of the creation of a space for humankind and also all other non humankind to live in harmony and symbiosis together within their environment. The project is as follows:

Soul Sanctuary

A humble project in southeast Ireland endeavouring to protect, preserve and enhance a 19.6 acre area of forested land with an emphasis on biodiversity protection and education prvision both from an experiential and theoretical perspective for visitors to the site.

This we believe will enable human beings to better understand and honour the links between the symbiotic interdependence of all life, all systems, within the the ethos of harm to none, and help us to adjust our living patterns accordingly, to continue to sustain life on earth.

Our intention is to create a wonderful place to visit all year round, with facilities for short and longterm stays in our community building and hermiteges and our emphasis will be on infusing light for all the senses, and for all aspects of our being. There will be no commercial gain, however the gain for the community of those who visit, including international visitors, aswell as those in the surrounding environs will, we believe, be of magnitude in creating a model of existence for others to follow and bring back to their own communities. My whole heart is in this project and I hope a little part of yours will be too.
