APERFIELD GREEN BELT ACTION GROUP was formed in 2001 with the

aim solely to protect and preserve the Green Belt in Biggin Hill from inappropriate

development. 

Its first success was against a major UK developer attempting to build on Green Belt

land in Biggin Hill.

Over the years they have been involved in successful defences of Green Belt land

within Biggin Hill. The last was in 2024 where we assisted residents to successfully

oppose plans to build on Green Belt land in Biggin Hill.

Over time we have built up successful working relationships not only with other

groups in Bromley but in the Boroughs around Bromley fighting Green Belt

development and with others on a national level.

Over 25 years as an organisation we have built up a team with extensive in depth

knowledge and operational capability around Green Belt issues.

We continue to press locally and nationally for brownfield sites and approved

planning applications in Company Land Banks to be used as a priority before Green

Belt.

The money donated will allow us to create impactful posters, leaflets banner etc and pay towards Environmental Impact Assessment and any other costs associated to oppose this inappropriate development.
