Hi, my name is Meike. I’m a busy, working mum with two children.

I have wanted to start up my own sleep over slumber party tent business for a long time but I’ve just never had the funds available to take the leap. I’ve finally decided that life is too short, I need to be brave and go for it.

I am trying to raise £2,000. This will enable me to buy 6 tents, bedding, lighting, trays, themed equipment to create a wonderful experience for children.

I have worked with children for over 15years. I feel like I can bring my teaching experience into my new business with different themed tents, including a calming themed tent to help support children with SEN.

From my own personal experience, some children find parties really overwhelming but, might consider a sleep over with a friend more manageable and exciting for them. I want to create an inclusive calming environment so children with SEN have the opportunity to have a party at their homes, suited to their needs too. This is something I’m very passionate about. Making memories is the most wonderful gift to our children. I really want to provide a business that puts smiles on children’s faces and it be for every child. I also want to charge parents a reasonable amount and something that is affordable!

I shall be learning as I go along but would love the opportunity to have the support to get my dream up and running! If you donate, I will try my best to make my business a success! I will give it 100%!
