Raise money to help our Mum

Hi – thank you for taking the time to read our story.
We are reaching out to ask for help in supporting our lovely Mum Christine, who has recently been diagnosed with peritoneal cancer.
This is a rare cancer, but as many of you will know this isn’t Mum’s first battle with cancer. 13 years ago, our Mum bravely fought and beat breast cancer. We truly believed those days were behind us. Now we are facing the fact that we will have to watch her go through this all over again.
Our Mum is the heart of our family: kind, selfless, and strong.
Anyone who knows her will know she is always happy to help anyone. She's also the most loving Nanny to her 4 grandchildren — we, and they need her around for many years to come.
This diagnosis has come at a time when she should be enjoying life the most. She has just retired after a long career of 40 years in the NHS, and was so looking forward to this next chapter of her life but instead, she is facing yet another fight for her health.
We are hoping to raise some funds to help her access the best care possible. We have done lots of research and our aim is to support her whilst she undergoes chemotherapy and surgery with complementary therapies that can help her body cope, recover, and stay strong.
These include:
IV Vitamin C – Known to help support the immune system and reduce inflammation and may even help make cancer cells more responsive to treatment, whilst also improving overall wellbeing.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber Therapy – By increasing oxygen levels in the body, this therapy can promote healing, reduce fatigue, and improve tissue repair — all of which are crucial when undergoing harsh treatments like chemotherapy.
High-Quality Supplements – Carefully selected supplements can help strengthen her immune system, support organ function, and reduce the side effects of chemotherapy.
These treatments aren’t covered by the NHS and come with a cost, and while we are doing everything we can, we can’t afford to sustain everything she needs on our own.
We would be incredibly grateful for any support — whether it’s a donation, sharing this page, or simply keeping Mum in your thoughts. Every little bit helps, and your kindness means the world to us.
