Raise Money in Memory of Francis

Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Dwarf Sports Association UK and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause which means so much to me.

Francis was a dear friend and colleague to many at Ardonagh and sadly passed before his time. We are trying to raise money in his memory for the Dwarf Sports Association a charity which was close to his heart. Francis was a keen powerlifter and with the support of The Dwarf Sport Association UK Francis was able to compete both in the UK and Internationally, to which he saw great success. This summer, Francis was due to compete in Cologne, Germany at the World Dwarf Games. An achievement Francis was immensely proud.

To raise money, we will be walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks on the 9th of September 2023. The 25-mile route seemed an ideal challenge to dedicate to Francis and will be a great test or all taking part.

Any donation, however big or small is greatly appreciated by ourselves, his family and DSAuk.

We use sport as a tool to break down the barriers of difference within society and to encourage confidence and empower our members. It is so important that our members feel valued and that they can do anything in life. We empower people to go on to enjoy all kinds of sports, in which they can compete equally and should they wish to go further we guide them on to the correct pathway.
