raise money for young people with brain tumors

Donation protected
Hi, our names are Camron and Gracie.
We are asking for your help raising money for two important people in our lives. Their names are Faith and Jordan and they are both sufferers of brain tumors.
They have both stayed so strong throughout their treatments and we would like to support them in any way that we can and take some financial strain away from them.

To do this, we are planning on walking the entirety of the guild wheel starting at 9am on the 1st of October and are asking for kind donations and sponsors to assist us in our fundraising efforts. It takes approximately 7 hours to complete and is 21 miles long. We will be starting at the 0/21 mile mark post which is situated in Avenham Park. Anyone is welcome to join in or drop down to cheer us on- so please come along!

Jordan is a family friend and has an inoperable brain tumor at only 25 years old. The tumor has left her with only 20% vision in one eye. Jordan has undergone radiotherapy and chemotherapy but it made her to ill to continue. Jordan has had to have blood transfusions and has had back to back seizures which lead to her being diagnosed with epilepsy.
Recently, the consultant has found a treatment that can help her get off the steroids, as the side affect of added weight has decreased her mobility. However, this treatment is not licensed for brain tumors or funded by the NHS but there is evidence of it reducing swelling on the brain. Getting her off the steroids will hopefully help her improve and her only option at the moment is this treatment so this is what half the money raised will go towards. Throughout this, she continues to always keep a smile on her face!

Faith, a close friend of ours, was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor that was affecting her left eye at only 15. The doctors were concerned that she would go blind in one eye if not removed as well as it also affecting her pituitary gland . They told her that she would require surgery as soon as possible , she had a 9 hour operation leaving behind only small scattered bits which were too close to vital structures to remove . However, spinal fluid started to leak through her nose and she was taken into surgery the next day to have a lumber drain to relive pressure on the brain . She then contracted meningitis as a result of the opening from the surgery.
Faith spent six weeks in hospital however has now returned home to recover . The money raised will help pay for her to make some new memories and have some fun during her recovery.

We thankyou for reading this and thankyou in advance for any support/donation/sponsor that you make. And we look forward to seeing you at the finish line!
