On 26th April 2026, my sister and I will be running the London Marathon for an amazing charity, Teenage Cancer Trust. Teenage Cancer Trust does not only support teenagers through their cancer journey but also young adults to the age of 24, the age I was when I was diagnosed with cancer.

In December 2023, I was diagnosed with Nodular Lymphocyte Predominant Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, after finding an unexpected lump under my left armpit.

Fortunately, due to the amazing Haematology Team and Teenage Cancer Trust, I was treated with Radiotherapy in March 2024. During my treatment, and while I continue to be monitored for cancer, the Teenage Cancer Trust nurses have been by my side, supporting both myself and my family every step of the way, ensuring I continue to receive excellent care.

I consider myself very fortunate with my diagnosis, especially as I am now able to live my day to day life with little impact. However, I know there are many teenage cancer patients that cannot and this is why my sister and I have decided to run the 2026 London Marathon for all the nurses and medical team associated to Teenage Cancer Trust, but also for all of the patients linked to the trust.

I cannot thank the nurses enough for all their care and support throughout my diagnosis and treatment, as well as for all the amazing work they do and the many people they support. So please, help my sister and I reach our goal of £4,400 for this incredible charity, so they can continue to support others that are in need.
