Raise Money for Film School

Hi, my name is Niamh, and I'm hoping to raise money for my tuition fees & living costs for my two-year Masters at the National Film and Television School (NFTS).

I'm Welsh, born and bred, and have always been involved in the arts since a very young age. After only recently graduating from Lancaster University with a BA in Fine Art and Film, I received news that I had been offered a conditional place on the MA Directing Documentary course at the NFTS to fulfil my dream of becoming a young Welsh female director! I couldn't believe it.

However, the offer is conditional on the basis that I can afford the annual tuition fee of £14,300 by December 2022. Having parents with low income and disability also means I receive minimal financial support, and due to the course's intensity, the school doesn't allow students to work alongside studying. So now I face a challenge which could destroy my hopes of attending one of the best film schools in the world, due to insufficient funding.

As a result, I am raising money by working, fundraising and seeking donations from the generosity of those who want to aid in reaching a once-in-a-lifetime ambition of attending the National Film and Television School to study documentary film.
